SPICY POHA

SPICY POHA-1 SPICY POHA-2

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Aval(flattened rice)         1 big cup

Coconut oil                         1 spoon(optional)

For tempering:

Cooking oil                          2 tbsp

Mustard                               little

Urad dal                               little

Curry leaf                            little

For grinding:

Coconut                               ¾ cup

Green chilly                        4

Salt                                         as required

Garlic cloves                       2 to 3

Tamarind                             tamarind seed size

Curry leaf                            little

METHOD:

  • Wash and soak aval deciding the time based on the quality of your aval(I did for a minute only, since it is very very thin).
  • Drain the water.
  • Grind the items mentioned under “for grinding” and mix with aval.
  • Heat oil and do tempering with items mentioned.
  • Add the aval+paste mixture, mix well and switch off.
  • Add coconut oil(optional) and mix well.
