Moong dal-1 cup
Green chilly -2 or 3
Cooking oil-1 spoon
Curry leaf-1 strip
- Clean moong dal and keep it soaked in cooking water for 10 minutes to get better results.
- Cut tomatoes and green chilies, add to dal.
- Pressure cook for 3 to 4 whistles.
- Heat oil in kadai, add mustard and curry leaves, transfer to cooked stuff.
- Cut and extract juice from lemon, add to dal, mix well and enjoy.
It is a healthy and tasty side dish for idly, dosa, etc.
