KADHI ( with tomato)


Curd-1 cup

Turmeric powder-¼ spoon

Salt-as required

Hing-small pinch

Besan(kadalai mavu)-1 spoon

Tomato-2 nos.(small)

For tempering:

Cooking oil-1 spoon(coconut oil preferred)

Jeera-¾ spoon

Curry leaves-1 strip

Green chilly-2


  • Heat oil in tawa, add jeera (mustard optional),  green chillies, curry leaves and tomatoes.
  • Saute till it becomes like a gravy.
  • Mix items curd, turmeric powder, salt, hing and besan, add to tawa contents.
  • Switch off burner after a minute.
  • Tasty kadhi is ready.  It goes well with all tiffins.
