PEPPER JEERA RASAM
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Tamarind-½ lime size
Pepper powder-1 tbsp
Jeera-¾ tbsp
Salt-as required
Hing-liberal pinch
Ghee- 1 tbsp
Mustard-¼ spoon
Curry leaf-1 strip
Coriander leaf-for garnishing
METHOD:
- Soak tamarind and extract juice.
- Heat ghee in pan, add mustard, curry leaves, pepper and jeera powders, mix well and immediately add tamarind extract.
- Add salt and hing, allow to boil well.
- Once fully boiled, add plain water (1/2 tumbler) and switch off while it bubbles.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
Very tasty and healthy rasam.
