BRINJAL QUICK PODITHUVAL    

brinjal idly podi curry-1 brinjal idly podi curry-2

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Brinjal                   ½ kg

Idly podi               2 to 3 spoons

Dhania powder ½ spoon

For tempering:

Cooking oil          2 to 3 spoons

Mustard               little

Urad dal               little

Red chilly             1

METHOD:

  • Wash and cut brinjals into pieces of any shape(or as shown in pic).
  • Heat oil and do tempering with items mentioned above.
  • Add brinjal cuts.
  • Add idly podi and dhania powder, mix well, sprinkle water if necessary, reduce flame, close with lid till cooked soft.
  • Enjoy this shortcut podithuval curry.
