LADY’S FINGER PACHADI

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Lady’s finger                                       12

Thick buttermilk                              2 cups

Salt                                                           as required

Cooking oil                                          3 tbsp

Ginger                                                    small piece

Green chilly                                        2

Curry leaf                                            1 strip

Mustard                                                for  tempering

Hing                                                        small pinch

METHOD:

  • Wash and cut lady’s finger into small pieces, deep fry in half of oil with little salt and keep aside.
  • Chop ginger, green chilies and curry leaves.
  • Heat remaining oil, add mustard, hing, curry leaves,  ginger and  green chilies.
  • Add fried lady’s finger and sauté for a minute.
  • Switch off burner and add buttermilk and salt.
  • Mix well and serve.
