Bread slices 12
To prepare stuffing:
Chat masala 1 spoon
Garam masala powder ¼ spoon
Turmeric powder ¼ spoon
Green chilly-finely chopped 1 tbsp
Salt as required
Coriander leaf-chopped ½ cup
Ginger-finely chopped 1 tbsp
Lemon juice extracted from 2 lemons-medium size
Cooking oil 1 spoon
Hing liberal pinch
Curry leaf 1 strip
For coating in slices:
Butter as required
Coriander chutney for applying in slice and for side dish(check for recipe in my blog)
Tomato ketchup as required
Cook, peel off the skin and mash the potatoes.
Add all items mentioned under “To prepare stuffing” except lemon juice.
Do tempering, add this potato mixture and sauté for 2 minutes and switch off burner.
Add lemon juice and mix well.
Stuffing is ready.
Take 2 slices of bread.
Coat one side with coriander chutney.
Coat the other side with butter and tomato ketchup.
Place one big spoon of stuffing on one slice, close with the other.
Make remaining slices ready in the same way.
Keep in sandwich maker/bread toaster as you normally do, toast them and serve hot.
You can also make it in normal dosa pan by closing with a plate and keeping a heavy weight on it.
Enjoy with coriander chutney or tomato sauce.
