GREEN MOONG DAL VADA

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Greeen moong dal                          1 cup (it is green split dal & not green whole moong )

Green chilly                                         3

Ginger                                                     1 inch piece

Salt                                                          as  required

Hing                                                         pinch

Onion                                                      2

Potato                                                    1

Cooking oil                                         to deep fry vadas.

METHOD:

  • Soak dal for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Grind with green chillies, ginger, salt and hing coarsely.
  • Chop onions and potato finely.
  • Mix all well.
  • Heat oil, take little dough, drop as ball of any shape, repeat for 10 more at a time,  deep fry and take out.
  • Repeat for remaining dough.
