It is a Gujarat special snack item, and can be stored for 15 days.
Mathia flour 1 cup
(made from brown bean which is a type of lentil)
Ajwain (omam) 1 spoon
Salt as required
Powdered sugar(optional) 1 spoon
Red chilli powder 3 spoons
Oil 3 spoons+as required for frying
Turmeric powder ¼ spoon
- Make a hard dough with all above items (leaving frying oil) using water little by little as required.
- Knead and beat the dough for 10 minutes.
- Prepare like pooris(but wait for 4 hours after rolling the dough, spreading them on a cloth and then fry in oil).
