Simple masaal vada

 Bengal gram-                    2 cups

onions-                                   3

green chillies-                    3

ginger  –                                  small piece

fennel seeds-                      3 spoons

curry leaves –                      as required

coriander leaves-            half bunch

salt                                           as required


Soak the Bengal gram for one hour, drain water and grind it in mixer.Chop the onions , green chillies, ginger, corriander leaves into very small pieces and add fennel seeds , curry leaves, to the grounded bengal gram ,and mix it well with hand. Now heat oil in a pan, take small amount of the batter & pat it like vada, put in the pan and deep fry it by turning both sides, .When it becomes golden brown, take it out.

Now tasty simple masaal vada is ready.
