spl muruku


Boiled rice                           1 cup

Fried gram                          ¼ cup

Sesame seeds                   1 spoon

Butter                                    1 tbsp

Salt                                         as required

Hing                                       small pinch

Cooking oil                        as required to prepare murukku


  • Soak boiled rice for 4 hours and grind as a fine dough, adding just sufficient water.
  • Powder fried gram.
  • Mix all items adding water little by little to a consistency like chapathi dough.
  • Use the murukku plate as shown in photo.
  • Fill dough in murukku achu,  press in hot oil, turn side and take out once done.
Very tasty evening time snack.
