CARROT HALWA

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Carrot-scrapped                  1 big cup (I used 2 carrots)

Milk                                              ¾ cup

Sugar                                          ¼ cup

Elachi                                          4

Cashew                                      8

Ghee                                            4 to 5 tbsp

METHOD:

  • Wash and scrap the carrot as shown.
  • Heat 2 tbsp of ghee, add scrapped carrot and sauté for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add milk and keep stirring for 5 minutes.
  • Add sugar, elachi powder, mix well and allow to cook fully till it reaches halwa consistency, adding ghee in between.
  • Switch off once done, fry cashews in ghee, add to halwa, mix well and serve.
