CASHEW SWEET VADA

cashew sweet vada

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Cashew                ¼ to ½ handful

Maida                   as required while preparing the dough

Corn flour          ½  spoon

Sugar                    3 tbsp

Elachi powder  ¼ spoon

Cooking oil        as required for frying

Rice flour           ½ spoon(optional)

METHOD:

  • Take little water, add sugar and cashews, let it soak for 15 minutes.

  • Make a paste.

  • Mix other items with it(except oil) and form a dough, not very thick, to a consistency which is comfortable to take and drop in oil.

  • Heat oil, take little dough, drop in oil, repeat for 10 vadas at a time.

  • Turn side, take out once golden.

  • Repeat for remaining dough.
