Maida                                   ½ cup

Corn flour                            2 tbsp

Besan                                    ½ cup

Rice flour                             ¼ cup

Bread crumbs                    ¼ cup

Baking powder                  pinch

Onion                                    1-big

Garlic                                     2 pods

Pepper powder                  ¾ spoon

Chilli powder                     ½ spoon

Salt                                         as required

Curry leaf                            1 strip

Coriander leaf                   as you wish

Butter/ghee                       1 spoon

Milk                                        ¼ cup

Cooking oil                          as required to deep fry


  • Chop onion, garlic, curry leaves and coriander leaves finely.

  • Mix with all other items except cooking oil into a firm but not very tight dough, adding water if required.

  • Heat oil, take small quantity of dough of any shape, drop in oil.

  • Decide the number to be dropped according to the quantity of oil you use.

  • Turn side, take out once golden.

  • Very,  very tasty tea time snack.
