Cooked and mashed potato 1 cup
Sugar ½ cup
Milk ½ cup
Scrapped coconut 3 tbsp(optional)
Ghee 4 to 5 tbsp
Elachi powder liberal pinch
- Heat ghee, fry cashews and keep aside.
- In remaining ghee, add cooked and mashed potato, sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, mix well, then add milk.
- Mix well and add coconut.
- Keep stirring in sim flame till it is fully cooked and reaches halwa consistency.
- Add elachi powder and mix well.
- Switch off burner and add fried cashews and enjoy this delicious sweet.
