SWEET POTATO SUYAN

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Sweet potato     1

Jaggery                 ¼ cup (adjust according to your taste)

Elachi powder   ¼ spoon

Maida                     ½ cup

Salt                         small pinch

Cooking oil         as required for deep frying

METHOD:

  • Wash, cook, peel off skin of sweet potato and mash well.

  • Powder jaggery  mix with mashed stuff along with elachi powder.

  • Make balls of lemon size.

  • Take maida in a bowl, add small pinch of salt,  add water little by little and make semi solid dough as you make for bajji outer cover.

  • Heat oil, dip balls in dough, drop gently in oil one by one (5 at a time).

  • Turn side, take out once golden.
