CAPSICUM(KUDAMILAGAI) THOGAYAL

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Capsicum                             3 to 4

Urad dal                               2 tbsp

Red chilly                             3

Hing                                         liberal pinch

Tamarind                             tamarind seed size

Salt                                          as required

Cooking oil                         2 tbsp

Mustard                                little(optional)

Curry leaf                            2(optional)

METHOD:

  • Wash and cut capsicum into big pieces.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add urad dal and red chilies, fry golden.
  • Add capsicum cuts.
  • Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes and switch off.
  • Grind with salt, tamarind and hing adding only required water.
  • Temper with mustard and curry leaves in little oil(optional).
