CARROT THOGAYAL

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Carrot                                                   2 (medium)

Urad dal                                              2 tbsp

Cooking oil                                        2 tbsp

Red chilly                                            4

Salt                                                         as required

Hing                                                       small pinch

Tamarind                                            tamarind seed size

METHOD:

  • Wash and scrap the carrots. 
  • Heat oil in kadai, fry urad dal & red chilies to golden colour. 
  • Add scrapped carrots to it.
  • Sauté well. 
  • Switch off once it is done, add tamarind, mix well and allow to warm up.
  • Grind with salt and hing adding water to required level.
