It is my mother’s favorite. No day goes without this chutney for her to take idly and dosa (for me too). Even on days where hot , tasty onion sambar is prepared, I have never seen her eating idly , dosa with sambar. She is crazy after this spicy and tasty chutney.
Coriander leaves 1 bunch
Green chilly 7 to 8 (according to your withstanding capacity for spices)
Salt as required
Tamarind a small pinch
Hing a small pinch
- Wet grind all above, without much water, as a fine paste and transfer to a bowl.
- Gingelly oil is to be mixed with it while eating (it is a must).
