GARLIC ONION THOGAYAL
Garlic cloves 10
Urad dal 2 tbsp
cooking oil 2 tbsp
Red chilly 4 or 5
Salt as required
Tamarind tamarind seed size
- Cut onions into big pieces. Peel off skin of garlic cloves.
- Heat oil in kadai, fry urad dal and red chilies to golden colour.
- Add garlic cloves followed by onions, sauté well, keep it closed and allow to warm up.
- Grind with salt and tamarind.(tamarind can be added directly while grinding if it is without impurities, else soak and extract juice and add while grinding, instead of water).
