pudina thogayal


Pudina                                  1 medium sized bunch

Coconut                               ½ cup

Urad dal                               2 tbsp

Red chilly                             6

Tamarind                             tamarind seed size

Salt                                         as required

Cooking oil                        2 tbsp


  • Plug out pudina as individual leaves, wash and drain the water.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add urad dal and red chilies, fry golden.
  • Add scrapped coconut, Sauté for 2 minutes.
  • Add pudina leaves and switch off burner, mix well.
  • Grind with salt and tamarind adding little water only if required.
