SMALL ONION KURMA

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Small onion                                         10 to 12

Tomato                                                    3

Green chilly                                           5

Coriander leaves                                as required

Coconut                                                   1 small cup

Ginger                                                       small piece

Fried gram                                              handful (4 tbsp)

Sundrop oil                                           2 spoons

Mustard, urad dal                            for tempering

Salt                                                            as required

METHOD:

Heat oil in kadai, add mustard, urad dal, then small onion and cut pieces of tamato. Sauté well , sprinkle little water and close with lid.  Wetgrind coconut, green chilly,fried gram, ginger and salt as a fine paste. (remember ingredients of chutney).  Add enough water mix well and add to fully boiled contents in kadai. Switch off burner after a minute.  Add cut coriander leaves.

Very, very tasty and easy to make dish suitable for any tiffin item.
