CABBAGE CURRY

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Cabbage-cuts                    3 cups

Coconut                               ½ cup

Red chilly                             3

Salt                                         as required

Hing                                        small pinch

Turmeric powder            small pinch

Oil                                             3 spoons

mustard,urad dal          for tempering

METHOD:

Cut cabbage into small pieces, wash & keep ready.

Heat oil in kadai, add mustard seeds, urad dal , hing & broken red chillies.  Then add cabbage, salt & turmeric powder. Pour enough water , mix it well and close with a lid.  Keep flame in medium.  Once it is fully cooked and all water is absorbed, add coconut and switch off.  Mix well and serve.
