CARROT-ONION CURRY

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Carrot                                                          5

Onion                                                          2 (BIG)

Chilly powder                                       ¾ spoon

Salt                                                             as required

Mustard, urad dal, oil                   for tempering

METHOD:

Heat oil in kadai, add mustard, urad dal, then add onion, sauté till it is transparent.  Cook carrot separately.  Add cooked carrots, add salt and chilly powder.   Sprinkle water , stir well and close with lid.  Serve once it is fully cooked and water is completely drained.
