Lady’s finger                      ½ kg

Tomato                                 1

Onion                                     2

Turmeric powder            ¼ spoon

Besan(kadalai mavu)  1 spoon

Curd                                         1 tbsp

Green chilly                        4

Jeera                                     ½ spoon

Chilly powder                    ½ spoon

Dhania powder                 1 spoon

Salt                                         as required

Cooking oil                          4 to 5 tbsp


  • Cut lady’s finger into 1 inch pieces and chop other vegetables finely.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add jeera, green chilly cuts, onion cuts, tomato cuts and sauté well.
  • Add turmeric powder, chilly powder, vegetable cuts, mix and sauté well, keep it closed, keep flame in low.
  • Once it is fully cooked, add besan and curd.
  • Mix well and switch off.

Serve with rice or rotis.
