ITEMS REQUIRED:

Senai kizhangu(cut pieces)                          1 cup

Vazhaikka(raw banana-cuts)                       1 cup

Pepper                                                                         ¾ spoon

Jeera                                                                             ½ spoon

Coconut                                                                       ½ cup

Red chilly(big)                                                        2

Salt                                                                                as required

Turmeric powder                                                  small pinch

Curry leaf                                                                  1 strip

Mustard                                                                      ¾ spoon

Coconut oil                                                               2 or 3 spoons

METHOD:

Cut senai & vazhaikkai into small pieces, wash and pressure cook for 2 whistles with salt and turmeric powder.

Heat 1 spoon oil in kadai, fry pepper, jeera, one red chilly and finally add ¾ of coconut and fry golden.  Make a coarse paste and add to cooked vegetables.  Mix well and boil for 2 minutes.

Temper mustard, one red chilly, curry leaves and remaining coconut in coconut oil and add to mixture.
