raddish curry


Raddish                                2 (big)

Salt                                         as required

Chilly powder                   ¾ spoon

Hing                                       small pinch

Cooking oil                         1 tbsp

Olive oil                                1 spoon

Mustard                                for tempering

Urad dal                               ½ spoon

Corn flour                            1 spoon


  • Peel off skin of raddish and cut into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add mustard and urad dal.
  • Add cut raddish, salt, chilly powder and hing.
  • Mix well and allow to cook in medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes, sprinkling water if necessary.
  • Add olive oil, then corn flour and mix well.
  • Switch off once done and serve.
