ITEMS REQUIRED:

Raw rice                                               2 cups

Aval                                                        1 cup

Venthayam-fenugreek seed  1/2 spoon

Urad dal                                              1 spoon

Salt                                                         as required

Curd                                                        2 tbsp

METHOD:

  • Wash and soak rice and aval for about 2 hours with venthayam and urad dal.(aval may require soaking for lesser time, so decide according to the type of aval you use).
  • Grind the soaked items as a fine batter adding curd, salt and required water.
  • Prepare dosas.
