WHEAT FLOUR KUZHI PANIARAM

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Wheat flour                        1 cup (big)

Rice flour                             3 spoons

Curd                                        ½ cup

Salt                                         as required

Oil                                            2 tbsp (nonstick pan requires very less or no oil)+tempering

Mustard                               ½ spoon

Green chilly                       2

Curry leaf                            1 strip

Coriander leaves           1 handful

Ginger                                  small piece

METHOD:

  • Cut green chilly, ginger, curry leaves and coriander leaves finely.
  • Mix wheat flour, rice flour, curd and salt adding water as required.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add mustard, green chilly, curry leaves, ginger sauté few times.
  • Switch off burner, add coriander leaves and sauté twice and transfer contents to flour mixture.
  • Heat paniaram plate, add a drop of oil in each hole, pour the dough with a spoon.
  • Keep flame under control, turn sides and take out once golden.
  • Serve with coriander chutney or any other chutney.
