ITEMS REEQUIRED:

Semia                    1 cup

Rice flour             1 cup

Curd                        1 cup

Onion                     1

Chilly powder   1 spoon

Salt                         as required

Curry leaf            1 strip

Coriander leaf  as required

Cooking oil         as required

METHOD:

  • Chop onion, curry leaves and coriander leaves finely.
  • Dry fry semia and soak in curd for 20 minutes.
  • Heat little oil and fry onion and add to curd-semia mixture.
  • Mix all other items (adding water if required) to adai batter consistency.
  • Heat dosa pan, place a big spoon of batter and flatten with hand (like adai).
  • Sprinkle oil , turn side once cooked and take out once golden.

Excellent tiffin with or without side dish.
