THALICHA CURD RICE

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Rice                        ½ tumbler

Curd                      1 small cup

Butter                   a small piece

Salt                        as required

Curry leaf           1 strip

Hing                       small pinch

Green chilly      1

Ginger                  small piece

Milk                       ½ cup

Oil, mustard    for tempering

Fried cashew     4 optional

METHOD:

Cook rice with little more water.  Mash the cooked rice well while it is hot itself.  Add salt, curry leaf, hing, cut pieces of green chilly & ginger, mix well , add curd & butter and mix well.  Heat milk and add(optional according to quality of curd).

Season with mustard seeds.  Add cashews.
