ITEMS REQUIRED:

Chana(white)    1 cup

Cooking oil          1 tbsp

Mustard                 little

Red chilly             2 big

Onion                     1

Salt                         as required

Coriander leaf  as required

METHOD:

  • Soak chana overnight and cook well for 6 to 7 whistles.
  • Heat oil, add mustard, red chilies, chopped onion and sauté well.
  • Add cooked chana, salt, mix well and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Switch off burner and garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Adding hing/scrapped coconut/lemon juice etc., is purely optional.
