WHEAT RAVA PAYASAM

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Wheat rava                         4 tbsp

Jaggery                                 8 tbsp

Milk                                          ¾ cup

Elachi powder                   small pinch

Ghee                                        1 tbsp

Cashew                                   4

METHOD:

  • Powder the jaggery , add ½ cup water, boil and filter impurities.
  • Heat ½ tbsp ghee in kadai, break cashews, fry them and take outside.
  • In the same pan, add remaining ghee, add wheat rava, fry very well till  it is fully golden.
  • Add enough water, allow the mixture to boil and cook well.
  • Add jaggery solution and allow to boil well.
  • Add milk and elachi powder,  mix well, switch off after 2 minutes.
  • Add fried cashews and serve.
