SWEET POTATO THOGAYAL
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Sweet potato 1 (medium)
Coconut ½ cup
Salt as required
Hing liberal pinch
Red chilly 5
Tamarind tamarind seed size
Urad dal 2 tbsp
Chana dal 2 tbsp
Cooking oil 2 tbsp
METHOD:
- Peel off sweet potato, scrap it and transfer to mixie.
- Add scrapped coconut also to mixie.
- Heat oil in kadai, add dals and red chilies & fry golden and transfer to mixie once warm.
- Grind with other items, adding only required water.
would like to know to boil the sweet potato or a raw one
