SWEET POTATO THOGAYAL

sweet potato thogayal

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Sweet potato                    1 (medium)

Coconut                               ½ cup

Salt                                         as required

Hing                                        liberal pinch

Red chilly                            5

Tamarind                            tamarind seed size

Urad dal                              2 tbsp

Chana dal                           2 tbsp

Cooking oil                        2 tbsp

METHOD:

  • Peel off sweet potato, scrap it and transfer to mixie.
  • Add scrapped coconut also to mixie.
  • Heat oil in kadai, add dals and red chilies & fry golden and transfer to mixie once warm.
  • Grind with other items, adding only required water.

Very tasty thogayal is ready.
