CASHEW SOUP

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Cashew                        1/4 cup
Onion                            2
Garlic clove               3
Butter                           3 tbsp
Pepper                         1/4 spoon
Salt                                as required
Corn flour                  1/2 spoon
Orange                        1 small


METHOD:

  • Melt butter in a kadai.
  • Peel off skin of garlic and onions.
  • Chop onions into big pieces.
  • Add them to kadai.
  • Sauté for a while.
  • Add cashews to mixie and powder.
  • Transfer kadai contents to mixie and make a fine paste adding enough water.
  • Transfer to kadai again and allow to boil well adding enough water.
  • When it is half done, add salt and crushed pepper.
  • Peel off orange and make as small pieces, add to kadai.
  • Dissolve corn flour in enough water and add to boiling contents.
  • Mix well and switch off once done.
  • Adjust salt and pepper to suit your taste.
