VENTHAYA DOSAI

VENTHAYA DOSAI-1 VENTHAYA DOSAI-2 VENTHAYA DOSAI-3

ITEMS REQUIRED:

Boiled rice                                           3 cups

Raw rice                                               1 cup

Urad dal                                               little more than ½ cup

Venthayam(fenugreek seed0   ¼ CUP

Salt                                                        as required

Cooking oil(or)gingelly oil          as required to prepare dosas.

METHOD:

  • Soak all items, except salt, for 4 to 5 hours.
  • Make a fine dosa batter adding salt and water as required.
  • Allow to ferment for 8 hours.
  • Prepare like normal dosas and enjoy the aroma and taste of venthayam.

We enjoyed this dosa with coconut chutney and simple arachi vita sambar.
