Curry Leaf Thogayal



Items required:

Urad dal                               4 spoons

Red chilly                             5

Ginger                                    1 big piece

Coconut                                1 small cup

Curry leaves                       1 bunch

Hing                                        small pinch

Tamarind                            v little

Salt                                         as required

cooking oil                        2 spoons


Heat oil in tawa, add urad dal & red chilly, fry golden, then add other items one by one in the order given , wetgrind after it becomes warm (with little water as far as possible).

It goes very well with idly, dosa, chapathi & curd rice. Very healthy chutney & tasty too.
