ALMOND ORANGE SOUP
Recently I had a chance to taste this soup in Indego Restaurant, Kumbakonam. I was impressed by its taste and appreciated them. Surprisingly, the chef who prepared this soup, came to my place and conveyed his thanks for my appreciation. I took the recipe from him and tried after returning to my place and came out well. My husband liked it very much. I enjoyed this with my flat friends.

ITEMS REQUIRED:
Maida 2 tbsp
Butter as required
Milk ½ cup
Salt as required
Sugar pinch
Pepper ½ spoon
Cinnamon small stick
Garlic cloves 3
Orange 1
Almond(badam) 15 or as you wish
METHOD:
- Crush garlic cloves and pepper.
- Peel off skin of orange and cut into small pieces.
- Soak almonds and chop into fine pieces.
- Melt butter, add cinnamon stick, crushed garlic and pepper.
- Sauté for a while and add maida.
- Once golden, lower flame, add water little by little, stirring the contents without break to avoid lumps being formed.
- Allow to boil well and add milk.
- Mix well and allow to boil together for few minutes.
- Add salt and sugar.
- Mix well and switch off.
- Add chopped almonds and orange pieces.
- Mix well and enjoy hot.
