MUTTER PANEER
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Cooking oil 1 tbsp
Onion-big 1
Green chilly 2
Garlic clove 2
Cashew 5
Watermelon seed 1 tbsp
Cumin seed 1 tbsp
Kasthuri methi 1 spoon
Ginger 1 inch piece
Ghee 3 tbsp
Tomato 2
Chilli powder 1 spoon
Turmeric powder ½ spoon
Any Masala powder 2 spoons(I have used Everest kitchen king masala)
Green peas 1 cup
Paneer 250 gms
METHOD:
- Chop onion, green chilies and ginger.
- Make a puree of tomatoes.
- Cook the peas till soft.
- Fry paneer.
- Heat the cooking oil, fry onions till transparent.
- Add green chilies, garlic cloves, cashews, water melon seeds, cumin, kasturi methi and ginger.
- Add ½ cup water and keep for 30 minutes.
- Grind as a fine paste.
- Heat ghee, add paste and fry for 3 minutes.
- Add tomato puree.
- Add all powders.
- Add cooked green peas.
- Mix and cook till ghee separates.
- Add ½ cup water and allow to boil.
- Add fried paneer and cook for 5 minutes.
- Mix well and enjoy.
