CAULIFLOWER GOTHSU
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Cauliflower 1 medium size
Coconut ¾ cup
Ginger 1 inch piece
Green chilly 2 to 3(original recipe –only pepper powder, but I added this also)
Jeera 1 spoon
Cashew 8 to 10
Fried gram(pottukadalai) 2 tbsp
Pepper powder ¾ to 1 spoon
Lemon juice taken from ½ lemon
Curry leaf 1 strip
Coriander leaves as you wish
Cooking oil 2 spoons
METHOD:
- Make cauliflower florets ready as you normally do(if you want guidance, please refer my blog under other cauliflower recipes).
- Cook it well.
- Heat oil, add ¼ spoon jeera and curry leaves.
- Add cooked florets and mix well.
- Add salt and pepper powder, mix and sauté well.
- Make a fine paste of coconut, ginger, green chilly, ¾ spoon of jeera, cashews and fried gram & add to boiling contents.
- Mix well and allow to boil all together.
- Switch off once done, add lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves.
