OMA PODI
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Kadalai mavu(besan) 1 big cup
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Omam 1 spoon
Salt as required (but use little less)
Butter small piece
Cooking oil for frying
METHOD:
- Boil omam very well and filter.
- Mix all items (except oil) with omam water, to chapathi dough consistency, adding water little by little.
- Heat oil in kadai, keep dough in “oma podi achu” and press in hot oil.
- Turn side, take out once done (takes less time compared to other snacks).
