BLACK EYED PEAS SUNDAL
It is known as “brown karamani” in Tamil.
Black eyed peas 1 cup
Pepper powder ½ spoon
Salt as required
Cooking oil 2 spoons
Red chilly 1
Coriander leaves little
- Soak black eyed peas overnight and cook for 8 whistles.
- Heat oil, add mustard, broken red chilly, onion and sauté well till golden.
- Now add cooked peas.
- Add pepper powder and salt.
- Sauté well and allow to cook together for 2 more minutes and switch off.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
