PEERKANGAI (RIDGE GOURD) THOGAYAL
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Peerkangai 2 (big)
Urad dal 2 tbsp
Red chilly 5
Hing liberal pinch
Tamarind tamarind seed size
Salt as required
Cooking oil 2 tbsp
METHOD:
- Cut peerkangai into big pieces, after peeling off the skin.
- Heat oil in kadai, add urad dal and red chilies, fry golden.
- Add peerkangai cuts.
- Sauté for 2 minutes and switch off.
- Grind with salt, tamarind and hing without adding water.
