GARLIC GREEEN BEANS
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Green beans ½ kg
Garlic paste 4 spoons
Salt as required
Pepper powder ¾ spoon
Extra virgin olive oil 2 spoons
Lemon 1 (optional)
METHOD:

Wash the green beans, cut into one inch pieces, cook till soft with salt in a thick bottomed vessel or pressure cooker or microwave.

Heat oil, add garlic paste and sauté well till raw smell vanishes.

Add cooked beans, mix well, lower flame and allow to cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Add pepper powder, mix well and switch off flame.

Cut and squeeze the lemon, add to cooked contents, mix well (this step is optional).

Very healthy and very tasty side dish, goes well with any main dish.
