SWEET POTATO IN JAGGERY SYRUP
Sweet potato 1 big
Jaggery ¾ cup
Elachi powder liberal pinch
- Wash well and cut sweet potato into fairly big pieces after peeling off the skin.
- Cook it with little water for 3 whistles.
- Melt jaggery, filter impurities and boil again.
- Add elachi powder and mix well.
- Once it starts boiling, add cooked sweet potato and allow to boil together for 2 to 3 minutes.
